Requirements for foreign nationals seeking medical services
Please bring the following documents at the time of consultation.
If you are enrolled in the Japanese Social Insurance System or in the National Health Insurance of Japan
・The health insurance card
・Photo-bearing identification card (i.e. Passport, Driver's license)
・Your credit card
If you are NOT enrolled in the Japanese Social Insurance System or in the National Health Insurance of Japan
・Private travel insurance certificate
・Passport or Residence Card
・Your credit card
About medical expences
For emergency consultation outside consultation hours, a deposit of ¥10,000 or ¥30,000 will be necessary according to your insurance status.
Payment
We accept Japanese Yen, and also credit cards during business hours.
Important Notes
Your documents (Passport and/or ID card )will be photocopied, As to
1. Prevent the use of borrowed health insurance cards, as the Japanese health insurance card does not bear a photo.
2. Prevent serious medical accidents, such as mismatched blood type due to incorrect identification
3. Report statistics on nationality and used language, required by the authorities.
If you need documents such as Refferal Letters or Medical Certificates, the standard fee is ¥13,200 when using our hospital's format, and ¥16,500 with an external format.
It can be issued only on weekdays, from 8:30 to 17:30, and not outside consultation hours.
Translation is available only into English, and it may take additional time.
